How this publication is produced

Official producer files are stored as published and used to build these pages. Younivi does not estimate missing observations, extrapolate, seasonally adjust or convert values between currencies. Percentage changes and rebased comparisons are calculated from official index levels and labelled as derived.

The Sources page identifies BLS, ONS, Statistics Canada, ABS, Eurostat and Stats NZ, with series codes, source links, retrieval dates and licences. Younivi does not claim these agencies as partners or present their observations as its own.

Corrections

Please report a value that differs from an official release, a later producer revision, a broken source link or an error in a derived figure. The Contact page explains how to identify the series and period.

Official values are corrected by retrieving the producer’s data again, then recalculating derived figures. We do not silently substitute unpublished values, and we do not remove a series without explaining why.

Independence and limits

The site records published indexes; it does not estimate inflation independently, combine series into new indexes or forecast. Each producer chooses its basket and base. The site does not adjust contracts, benefits or investments or provide financial, investment or inflation-adjustment advice.
